This month, we celebrate 18 years of innovation. We discuss the rate of adoption of the ISO 20022 standard. And we highlight the role Swift APIs are playing in achieving payment modernization.
In November, IntellectEU celebrates 18 years of innovation, collaboration, and solution development. We want to thank our partners for their continued trust and support, and our wonderful team for their creativity and tireless efforts.
Within the Blockchain & Digital Assets space, November saw a strong line-up of industry events, from The Bridge in New York, Singapore FinTech Festival, to the Belgian Days FinTech & Innovation Summit in Warsaw.
Our team made the most of these opportunities to meet with colleagues and discuss recent ideas gripping the industry. In particular, we have been exploring the Digital Asset Securities Control Principles proposed by leading FMIs. More on this roadmap to digital asset adoption soon, but we look forward to continuing the conversation during Digital Finance Summit in Brussels next Friday.
In Payment Modernization, we've been reflecting on the current adoption rates of the ISO 20022 standard. During Sibos 2024, Swift highlighted that only 27% of financial messages globally are currently ISO 20022 compliant. Although the adoption rate is projected to rise to 40% by the end of 2024, there's a long way to go before the November 2025 deadline. The lag demonstrates the challenge that migration presents to organizations, even while the benefits of ISO 20022 are undeniable. Those interested in a refresher can view information in our Knowledge Base.
As the industry modernizes and the Swift product line evolves, new challenges and opportunities for financial enterprises are emerging. Swift APIs are one remarkable resource for levelling up cross-border payments, domestic payment processing, data management, compliance, and more. But with these new approaches come new integration requirements that can be burdensome. This is one area where we are providing unique support to financial enterprises.
Readers can explore more details about Swift APIs here and learn how IntellectEU assists organizations in getting connected.
We want to thank our world-class team for their outstanding efforts this year, our clients for their continued trust, and our new and tenured partners alike, as we look forward to many more exciting projects to come.
